Homepage

The tool bar on the top of the website contains tabs that will help you easily navigate the site. If you need to change anything on your account such as your password, or email, just click on ‘account settings’.

The box to the top right keeps track of member activity such as who has viewed your profile or who is on IM (live chat). Below the Mega Wink box you can easily view your profile. Keep scrolling down and you’ll be able to view featured members and search for more members.

Search

You can search for members based on qualifications such as location and age. This feature is accessible on your homepage, as well as, more extensively on the ‘search’ tab in your toolbar. When you click the ‘search’ tab, you can scroll through hundreds of profiles at your leisure, check out member profiles and send messages. You can also search members based off of keywords. For example, type in “dancing,” and you’ll be shown members who have mentioned this word in their profile.

Matches

Based on the questions answered during the registration process, SeniorSoulmates.com has come up with a collection of matches who might be perfect for you! On the ‘Matches’ page, you will be shown a profile and asked, “wanna meet up?” You certainly don’t have to meet anyone right away, but clicking ‘yes’ will encourage you two to communicate. Selecting ‘maybe’ will offer you the same profile at a later time, and clicking ‘no’ will remove them from your matches.

If you’re unsure, click ‘show profile’ to learn more about that member. The matches who you are interested in, and the ones who are interested in you, will be organized and listed in a box to the right for you to message when you please.

Messaging

It is easy to communicate with other members through SeniorSoulmates.com’s messaging system. Click the ‘messages’ tab to be taken to your inbox. You can see all the messages waiting for you in your inbox and reply to them directly if you are a Gold member. Write a new message by clicking ‘compose.’

Mega Wink

Members with Gold subscriptions can send a ‘Mega Wink,’ which works by choosing a question listed and then it will be asked to a large group of members on your behalf. Sit back, and wait for replies to roll in. This is a fun way to get conversations started and promote social interaction.

Mobile

There is no mobile app for SeniorSoulmates.com, but they do have a mobile version of their site. From your smartphone, log on to SeniorSoulmates.com and you will be taken to the mobile-friendly site, which allows you access the same features you’d find on their desktop site. Here, you can clearly view members near you, which members viewed you recently, and you can also message and search the member database. Using a mobile site also makes uploading photos from your phone very convenient!

All new profiles get verified manually by the customer support team of Seniorsoulmates.com. They ensure that only legitimate users get to use the website and interact with the rest of the community. If you are being disturbed by someone or if someone is harassing you, you can report their profile without any hassle or contact customer support directly to report them or get them blacklisted. If at any time you feel like taking a break from dating, you can delete your profile.
