There’s no reason not to use Archer, considering it’s completely free to download and use. The sign-up is easy, you’ll need to download it on iOS or Android and grant access to your location. All users must have a completed profile before using the app. This includes a verified avatar photo plus three other pictures, first name, about me, tags, I’m here for, and relationship status. You get to decide what you’re looking to gain out of this platform- whether it’s a community or a relationship. You also have the option to censor photos so that you don’t receive any inappropriate messages.

To feel more like a social app, users can follow each other, use pre-set tags to search or be searched, and filter to specifically what they’re looking for. An extra cool feature is that users can customize their tags for better and more specific traction. 

Interactive user interface

Archer’s interface is customizable, with three different options to view someone’s profile. Scroll through a linear feed and view one profile at a time, view a zoomed-in grid showing 15 profiles at once, or view a zoomed-out grid showing dozens of profiles at a time. Not only are these options for how to view a profile, but the user can pick their layout as well.

Archer takes user safety very seriously. Unlike other apps, a selfie verification is required when you sign up for the app. Archer wants their users to feel safe and comfortable to explore relationships freely.
