Elite Singles offers three membership plans. The cost of these memberships is subject to change, and seems to change quite a bit, but we have listed the latest prices below in AUD.

Premium Light – 3 Months

The Premium Light plan is a three-month subscription and costs $59.95 per month.

Premium Classic – 6 Months

The Premium Classic plan is a six-month subscription and costs $34.95 per month.

EliteSingles is focused on serious dating. If you are looking for a long-term relationship, there is no better place to try. Their user base, although smaller than others, is fresh and active and full of like-minded professional people looking to find that special someone with thousands finding love every month. Most of their users are university graduates, which sets their dating pool apart from others. EliteSingles operates in 20 countries and has been creating around 2000 new couples monthly.

Many sites claim to be targeted toward specific groups of people, only to allow everyone to join, but EliteSingles really is exclusive. In fact, when we first conducted this review and went through the long sign-up questionnaire, we were rejected. The site told us that we weren’t a good fit and then suggested some alternatives.

Registration process

Once you create your basic profile with your username, email, and password, set aside a solid 30 minutes as Elite Singles has a questionnaire for you measuring 29 personality traits to find your best match. You can’t skip this process and you need to think about your answers because if it determines that you’re not a good fit, it will refuse access.

Most of the questions cover basics such as whether or not you smoke and what you’re looking for in a match. Others are a little more probing and curious, but it all helps to build a profile of your personality. We recommend setting aside 25 to 30 minutes to complete this.

Profile set-up

Prepare to bare your soul with a very detailed profile. Your personality quiz results are displayed on your profile, along with sections you’ll fill in to answer questions about what you’re looking for in a relationship, quirky interests, and lifestyle highlights.

Notification settings

Go into the ‘account settings’ tab where you can choose which notifications you’d like to receive, from newsletters to push notifications when you receive a new message or match.

Approved photos

Your photos must meet EliteSingle’s photo criteria with guidelines such as no nudity, no animations, no duplicates, etc.

Messaging

Interact with other members with likes, messages or select a pre-written question for your match to answer. Actual back and forth correspondence, however, is reserved for paid members only. Once you’ve signed up for a paid subscription, messaging is easy and straightforward.

Matches

Instead of browsing an infinite sea of profiles, you are given 3-7 matches per day, which you can file through to select the ones you’re actually interested in contacting.

EliteSingles bases its matchmaking process on personality traits analysis based on two factors: your profile, which is created after you finish the personality test, and your search preferences. Focusing on serious relationships seekers, this online dating site asks new members to fill in a detailed questionnaire. The data obtained from the member’s answers enable EliteSingles to draft a personality profile, which later on is completed and refined by the member’s activity on the site.

Hide your profile

You can activate or deactivate matching in order to hide your profile. This means that the main pool of members will not be able to see your profile, while your matches will still have access to you.

Delete matches

Once you delete a match, they can no longer contact you and your message history will be deleted.

Verification

There is no profile verification or photo verification on behalf of the members.

Fake profiles

EliteSingles promises to delete profiles that seem to provide false information or represent false identities. They use “SSL Encryption, Fraud Detection and Manual Profile Verification” to weed out scam profiles.

Report catfish

Members can report other member profiles which they believe to be fake. The EliteSingles team will review the profile and make a decision on whether or not to remove the profile.

Data collection

According to EliteSingles, your personal data is only collected and stored for the duration of your membership.
