Registration Process

Once you create your basic profile with your username, email, and password, set aside a solid 30 minutes as Elite Singles has a questionnaire for you measuring 29 personality traits to find your best match. Don’t worry; it gives you the opportunity halfway through the questionnaire to skip and come back to it later.

Profile Set-up

Prepare to bare your soul with a very detailed profile. Your personality quiz results are displayed on your profile, along with sections you’ll fill in to answer questions about what you’re looking for in a relationship, quirky interests, and lifestyle highlights.

Notification Settings

Go into the ‘account settings’ tab, where you can choose which notifications you’d like to receive, from newsletters to push notifications when you receive a new message or match.

Approved Photos

Your photos must meet EliteSingle’s photo criteria with guidelines such as no nudity, no animations, no duplicates, etc.

Messaging

Interact with other members with likes and messages, or select a pre-written question for your match to answer. With the new freemium model, basic members can now message their matches as long as both people have liked each other, while Premium members enjoy unlimited messaging and extra communication perks. Messaging is easy and straightforward from both desktop and the app.

Matches

Instead of browsing an infinite sea of profiles, EliteSingles gives you a curated batch of Recommended picks each day—3 for free members and 10 for Premium—plus extra suggestions in the Discover/“Have you met…” sections. That way, you spend more time on profiles that are actually likely to be a good fit.

EliteSingles bases its matchmaking process on personality traits analysis based on two factors: your profile, which is created after you finish the personality test, and your search preferences. Focusing on serious relationships seekers, this online dating site asks new members to fill in a detailed questionnaire. Wondering if your message was received? With read receipts, you’ll know exactly when your matches have read your messages, keeping you informed and helping you gauge their interest.

Extra Wildcard Matches

Expand your horizons with up to 20 extra Wildcard Matches per day through the “Have You Met…” feature. This exciting option introduces you to people who fall outside your usual search criteria, opening the door to unexpected and meaningful connections.

Hide Your Profile

You can activate or deactivate matching in order to hide your profile. This means that the main pool of members will not be able to see your profile, while your matches will still have access to you.

Delete Matches

Once you delete a match, they can no longer contact you and your message history will be deleted.

Verification

EliteSingles combines automated tools and manual checks to keep the community authentic. Profiles and photos are reviewed against clear guidelines, and the platform uses various fraud-detection and authentication measures to flag suspicious activity before it reaches you.

Fake Profiles

EliteSingles promises to delete profiles that seem to provide false information or represent false identities. In addition to SSL encryption and fraud detection, they use manual profile checks and other authentication methods to reduce scammers, catfishing, and other inauthentic accounts.

Report Catfish

Members can report other member profiles which they believe to be fake. The EliteSingles team will review the profile and make a decision on whether or not to remove the profile.

Data Collection

According to EliteSingles, your personal data is only collected and stored for the duration of your membership.
